CAD software can be used to create 2D drawings or 3D models.  Students in grades 7-12 will gain an introductory understanding of CAD software with specific focus on Autodesk's 3D modeling in Fusion 360. We'll introduce you to valuable tools for learning Fusion 360, and give you great tips and tricks. Students will also create simple designs to print out on 3D printers!

They'll learn where the parts go, how to organize the cables properly, and how to install an operating system onto a new computer. Living in a Virtual World
What is Virtual Reality (VR)?  VR is not just about playing fun games! In this one-day workshop, students in grades 5-7 will learn how VR will impact and shape our lives and what it can do. VR will change how we live, learn, teach, interact and experience our world. Students will make a pair of VR goggles to take home, draw and illustrate a 3D scene, and many more hands-on activities to learn all about Virtual Reality.

5-day April Vacation Workshop: Intro to CAD, Autodesk Fusion 360 3D Modeling and 3D Printing
Architects, engineers, drafters, artists and others use CAD (computer-aided design) software to create precision drawings or technical illustrations. CAD software can be used to create 2D drawings or 3D models.  Students in grades 7-12 will gain an introductory understanding of CAD software with specific focus on Autodesk's 3D modeling in Fusion 360. We'll introduce you to valuable tools for learning Fusion 360, and give you great tips and tricks. Students will also create simple designs to print out on 3D printers!
